Long-term neglect of educational infrastructure in the United Kingdom has created an unsustainable backlog of maintenance and capital funding requirements.

In North Wiltshire, the Bilfinger Berger Project Investments procurement model is now delivering a much improved educational environment at a defined cost to the public sector.

Under this €62 million, 30-year concession, the private sector assumes direct responsibility for delivering and maintaining a high quality environment, thereby permitting the teaching staff to focus primarily on delivery of the education curriculum.
