Clackmannanshire Schools, Scotland

Bilfinger Berger Project Investments is currently developing three new schools in Clackmannanshire, Scotland and will provide accommodation for more than 3,000 pupils. This was achieved through close cooperation with local educational depart¬ments, councils and communities. Lornshill Academy shows a landmark "castle" design, with strong emphasis on performing arts; Alloa Academy will become a "learning campus", encompassing the existing primary school and family centre; Alva Academy has been relocated to create an amalgamation of an existing split teaching site.

The new buildings, covering a total of 39,500 sqm, are designed to enhance each pupil's learning experience, while granting a safe and secure environment. The schools will provide much-needed state-of-the-art facilities to serve students and their communities for many years to come.
